I'm back from my little adventure. The pop-up shop was neat. I managed to take a few pictures of statues and concept art. I put a preorder in for a little Danboard since I'm a consumer whole that likes both Kojima and Yotsubato. The guy gave me a Astro Bot Pepsi as a bonus.
while I was there I got some fish and chips. They were alright but not quite what I was looking for.
I'm also happy to announce Lolly Talk is now the OFFICIAL Cantopop group of the thread. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTtBqzGI-HM

>what was the first one like?
A kind of terrain navigation game. I really enjoyed it.
>moar furniture?
Some mugs and cups and a little drawer that I can put on my windowsill use as a night stand.

>has it been the same journal for all this time?
No, I get a new one each year because I'm an idiot that pays out the ass for a Hobonichi.
>would you say your calligraphy is good?
Better than when I started, but generally illegible.

>I'd say it felt closer to DaS3 and for some reason I kinda disliked its setting compared to the first two games
I like impossibly huge structures and enjoyed Leyndell. Are there any places like that in the other games?
>I've heard niche forums like that work pretty well if you're looking for frens, bonding over your autistic interests kind of thing
The oldheads there are still very close. I know a few users even got married thanks to that site.
There was a documentary about it called EarthBound, USA which documents the forum, which is an interesting if incredibly niche watch but still quite interesting. Although I'm not sure how much you'd get out of it if you've never browsed it.
For a while people were convinced it was vapourware and they just took the money and ran but it did eventually come out after huge delays. It was inexplicably shown at my local cinema in the UK for a bit.
>Are you a Kojima fanboi?
Unashamedly. You have no idea how sad I am to have missed the big man himself.
