The investors would never allow that. You spend someone else's money when making yours. That's how every company works. And interest rates prohibit that today.

Starfield probably had its budget yanked when it needed money the most. Same with CoD. The next wave of projects being made in this economy will likely be even worse, with even more internal expectancies. The rebooted 343 is probably a nightmare to work at.
