The whole idea of an alien race with cartoon powers is honestly very terrifying in retrospect. Just imagine getting invaded by The Mask thousands of times over basically. Really neat idea either way, and pompadours are ALWAYS a top tier design choice. One of my main OCs almost had a pompadour before I changed it up to be a bit more swirly/wavy. Funnily enough he also has some weird meta/wacky abilities of his own due to the nature of his setting. I'd reckon he'd be pretty decent friends with your fella.
