I would say for me it's like 75% gameplay 25% dress up, but you have to find a character you really like playing.

For reference, one end game character doing all of their weeklies and daily 115-120 circuits can expect to generate about 300m per month. Takes a while to get there, but you can get a lot more with multiple characters which is encouraged.
