It was absolutely not a decent thriller. It constantly deflated its own tension, had no idea how to handle its pacing, relied on the same very cheap suspenseful tricks over and over again.
One example out of many:
>characters are pointing guns at each other
>cut to random angle
>gunshot
>cut to B plot
A third person shot one of the dudes anyway. That happens like 6 times. You should watch Monster.
