>short while later we also admit to having mutual crushes on each other
>start dating
>come out to our families (it goes okay)
>get married
>been together ever since
Feel like I pretty much hit the jackpot. Found the right guy right out of the gate, so we never had to deal with dating drama. Had some typical teenage angst about my sexuality and some awkwardness with my dad after I came out, but was never the subject of any serious homophobia. I honestly feel a bit guilty when I hear about some of the absolute bullshit I managed to dodge that other gay guys have to go through.
