Honestly it does kind of feel like trend followers. It really feels like most of the posters here only have cursory knowledge of these characters. That's fine and all, but I genuinely don't get why people will invest all this money into shit they don't actually care about. Feels like people trying to fit in without actually putting in the effort, not that there is any, to actually sit down and read a fucking comic book. I post my toys from time to time, but as you said, there are schizos I'm these threads that will outright obsess about you just because they recognize your background or something. I get it from some lunatic in the Marvel thread. I really wish toy collecting didn't have so many mentally ill people in it. It's embarrassing to share a hobby with some of you.
