Nations rise and fall, weak peoples get crushed and new ones rise. The Greeks need to be dragged crying and screaming to transparency, meritocracy and modern levels of efficacy, like Lee Kuan Yew did to the uncivilised Singaporean peasants. Mitsotakis made some baby steps but did not go far enough.

The Greeks have a history spanning back thousands of years, but in the grand scheme of things, older civilisations have been wiped from the face of the universe multiple times, and now remain as obscure historic curiosities. It is up to the Greeks to either decide to do better, or face humiliation and then oblivion at the hand of eastern barbarians.
