Real talk, knowing Nintendo and the Splatoon studio making the game I'm pretty certain the closest we will ever get is when in the next animal crossing game they decide to make the happy home designer finally part of the base game and you will then have a mechanic like the roomies mechanic on the vacation home island where you could choose two villagers to live in the same house.
