And yes! it being medieval and so varied has been a real boast to my volition to do it, since when a new color design comes to mind I can immediately go and try it.. Really staves off burn out.

DESU I use them cause I already had them to display rpg miniatures. It just so happens that 24 and 16 are divisible by 8. I didnt even know about swordpoint thanks! but yah, was thinking about hail ceaser. But also the little known Middle earth stratage game large battle system also uses trays of 8 and I liked the one video out there that has played it.

I might rebase So I can play oathmark or lion rampant or something else at some point as well (I like games where you take away minis, more tactile that way)
Here is my current progress on my first mounted man at arms. im especially happy with how the lance maypole design came out, cut a sliver of masking tap to make the candy cane design. not finished yet, but got most of the base colors in place.
