Skaventide is still floating around a year later, after GW employees were told to destroy all of the in-store stock and then they were giving pallets of them away for free at Adepticon. Every AOS space obviously has a bias towards the game being popular, but, in reality, 80% of anything with the word Age of Sigmar on it gets tossed into the dumpster and people rarely play. Warcry and Necromunda get played more regularly than Age of Sigmar. Legions Imperialis gets played more. The minis, the starters, the books; everything; gets known lossed and tossed into the dumpster. This is why GW stores have plastic recycling, so people can't just pull 800 bucks of AOS army boxes out of the dumpster on a monthly basis anymore. No one outside of GW will accurately convey to you how unpopular this product line actually is. No one wants any of the new stuff; not even that giant edgy zombie dragon.
So WTF even happened with this launch and subsequent releases? People literally don't even want this stuff for free.
I cannot for the life of me pinpoint why tf they keep sending me AOS army boxes and books still. It would save everyone a whole lot of time and money if they just threw them into the dumpsters in Nottingham. Is it an executive's pet project or something? What a collosal waste of time and resources; to rot in a landfill forever.
