Also, Toriel giving her shit for this and firing her immediately is quite the hypocritical move from someone that abandoned her husband immediately and carried her son's killer's corpse across their entire kingdom in the middle of the night, to the point no one even knew she had done so. She could have expressed at any point to Asgore to just stop, and his pussywhipped self would have done just that, as he constantly demonstrates.
Instead, she locked herself away due to her own weakness, cowardice, allowed 6 humans to move on to their deaths and held nothing but resentment to her literal soul mate as he tried to keep himself and his kingdom up for centuries.
Toriel is the actual monster, but I don't see many people giving her shit for this.
The fact that the Chapter 4 ending scene caught so many people off guard just makes me think not enough people were paying attention in UT. Even the alarm page shows off her alcoholism and abandoning nature.
She's no right to throwing shade at anyone for their mistakes. And she's literally immortal, so her behavior is even more abhorrent, instead of putting it, and her prestige to good use.

Not even remotely comparable. Again, you're mistaking her motivations as malice.
