Oh, Furinkan has a note regarding the sign in that recap panel. Though it may apply only to the anime.

"The sign at the bottom of the candy story says "Bekkou Ame" (べっ甲飴). This is the name of the store that Tamako bought the candy for Sakura from. Bekkou Ame means "Bekkou Candy" with Bekkou being a proper name when written with those kanji. However the sign overhead is also read phonetically the same way, (べっこう飴) which means "hard candy"."

Also, the sign here says "枯井戸" or "Dry Well". Furinkan notes that: "One remarks that there is a dry well on the property which is hinted at in the name. 枯井戸 literally means "dry well". When the first two kanji are read together it also become "Karei" which is a proper name."
