If I applied to work for a corporation and they did not hire me then I would find ways to take revenge against them. I could review bomb them online or I could boycott their products. I'll find some small petty way to take my revenge against any corporation foolish enough not to pay me for my genius intellect and capable leadership. I'm literally god-tier compared to most of the semi-evolved demi-humans occupying this country.
