It was nice because I didn't have the nostalgia goggles of OoT when I started as I never played that one as a kid still, it ended up being my favorite.

Its sad because initially I didn't like TP all that much but Skyward Sword really made me appreciate it, even though SS wasn't necessarily a bad game. It's sad, the ending to SS feels oddly melancholy. I doubt the devs knew they were more or less going to reboot the games with BotW, but it feels like they did. Even the way Fi said goodbye to Link and the shot of him leaving the Master Sword felt like the end of an era. I feel both satisfied and sad now that it's over. Might go back and play some of the offshoot games just because I dont feel like saying goodbye to this era of Zelda just yet.
