>So far everyone only seem to talk about waifus. How does the gameplay compare to RF3-4, and other clones like Stardew or Mistria?
The waifus are the main thing going for it.
I've said this in other threads but basically it's heavily streamlined and normified, skills levels matter very little just giving small stat boost mostly. You gain village building but don't get to build your own home anymore or buy appliances, crafting is all done by just hiring NPCs and giving them your items. You get a massive amount of items and wealth just by playing the main story, same for recipes so I never had to actively look or grind for stuff, I could always craft everything without thinking about it. General requests don't have dialog and are just kill this or fetch that which you just kind of do anyway by playing the game.
It feels a lot like an MMO where you just run around mindlessly killing monsters then go back to town and check 50 things you did off a list without really trying and get your daily rewards

Not much flavor dialog compared to 3/4, companions don't follow you in town only in combat areas and they just have a dozen or so generic quips none specific to quests or locations.
You basically just have the relationship events to get any real interactions with the characters.
Main quest while interesting is very railroady and you kind of just get shunted from place to place without any real reason to ever stop and relax because everything is gated behind quest progression. Then once it's over you realize you basically did everything and there is no game left.
I like to play causal, relax, and explore but it felt like I unintentionally just speedran everything because of the way it is designed.
