the thing here though is that this is completely compatible with the 'concept' behind dark ages, it was just an abysmally bad execution
Being fast, having high mobility and etc is not really the requirement or the dealbreaker, but maybe there could be more than 1 FPS where bosses arent abysmally bad, maybe the shooting can be interesting and not the most canned derivative shit ever, maybe the enemy encounters/arenas could be uniquely fun etc
If they didnt put 80% their budget on graphix and fancy animations and tech, spent all that effort coming up with actually good gameplay on an infinitely cheaper game to produce, DA could have been fantastic but they had to waste it by going all-in on greenslop
