>But there is one glaring issue:
>Dexter's stories suck!
>His encounters and plot are always so predictable
>It was cool the first few times but Dexter can't come up with anything new
>How can he? His mob designs and campaign progression are air tight and require a very linear flow
>He never lets them side quest freely or try new skills, it would ruin his perfect balance
>No matter how cool the holodeck is it's still boring when Dexter GMs
>Another bug in the system, the mobs gain sentience, they attack in greater numbers and use the powerful loot they were supposed to drop on death
>Dexter doesn't know what to do, there is no way for the party to win this, it's beyond what he planned for the party to be able to handle here
>Vicky steps in calling shots with a creative idea for how to win
>Day saved, they triumph, Dexter learns an important lesson and agrees to let Vicky DM from now on
>Next session Vicky is taking them through her new story but Dexter is having issues
>Now that he's not a DM he's too smart to be a player
>He's breaking the limits of the game by exploiting every loophole for his character
>He's godmoding now
>Quirky incidental music plays
