6/10 purely off the strength of invasions as a concept, there's really nothing else like it and if they had even the barest level of competency in designing the systems for it they would be incredible, but they don't and can't so instead they just halfassedly cram the mechanic in with less and less thought each game and will probably drop it altogether in the next one
Like basically everything about the series, I think it's DS2's fault, or rather a combination of DS2's real flaws and people overreacting to imaginary flaws that scared Fromsoft away from actually trying cool shit like covenants again. DS3 was the most bland, safe game they've made yet and it did really well, and then for Elden Ring their big ambitious experiment was making it open world and adding crafting, and then they added roguelite runs, Diablo loot and a fortnite ring in Nightrein, I think they're done trying to come up with new shit.
