I hope this thread won’t die yet. I need help to know what I have done wrong. My goal is to see a model and be able to do a basic mannequin to draw my OC.

So I’ve enrolled to my first nude model class.

The picreal is the best model study I’ve done (according to me).
I felt stuck at my model like I couldn’t draw him correctly.

My gesture look bad although I studied from all YouTube and books sources + I used a lot of lined (my biggest flaw I tried to used a pen but same thing I used too much lines) + don’t look like the models

I didn’t study anatomy bc Proko, other YouTubers and books are telling me that it’s a bad idea to start anatomy without mastering gesture. Honestly I feel drown out all the thing I have to learn and what to learn = I’m lost.
