when you boil it all down, the religious hypothesis seems the height of absurdity - that it makes a difference to the entire universe WHAT YOU THINK, think the right way and the universe switches into a blissful realm, think the wrong way and the universe switches into a realm of suffering, pretty crazy when you think about it.
