most of what i've read has been pretty mainstream. ptsd radio, petshop of horrors, tomie + uzumaki + the rest of junji ito's stuff, etc. the way i do it to have the most fun is to just sort by horror genre + rating, and reading whatever looks cool. the shorter ones are my favorite because they feel like campfire stories and folk tales. Death's Reflection and Monkey Mountain are great examples
