Tank Busters, DPS's being able to output more damage and faster, DPS's generally having more range and mobility than a Tank, Tanks having larger and easier to shoot Hitboxes, certain Tanks being more defense orientated vs DPS's always being offence orientated with more abilities focused towards offence vs Tanks having some kit dedicated, other characters having utility that a Tank does not have.
these are extremely basic design principles, if a Tank does not have the sufficient threat to make and take space (which is their primary objective) you have failed to design a Tank properly, they need that to do their job, unlike certain retarded preconceptions Tanks are not solely their to be a meatshield
Magneto is a great example of a perfectly designed Tank, he has amazing survivability however what people forget is that he can also do good damage, LMB RMB LMB is going to kill anything with 250 health and anything with 275-300 health is within onetap range either by you or anyone on your team, this gives him good threat potential because if you aren't a Tank you cannot just ignore him because he will kill you, however he has weaknesses, he is slow as all fuck, has a larger hitbox, is constrained by his cooldowns to function and has limited range, and thus DPS has their niches and advantages over him
pre-rework Thor is a good example of a Tank that has sacrificed defensive capabilities for increased Mobility and Damage, and while he has both of those, he is less mobile than some of the mobility heavy characters like BP and Spiderman and while he shits out damage they (well not Spiderman at the moment) shit it out a lot faster, however in exchange he has more health and sustain which is a testament to how retarded Netease are because of how badly they fucked him up, literally could have just let him cancel awakening and give him a good Ult and he would be perfect
