would chara be a better and more memorable character if their player allegory aspect was cut and they actually had a more defined backstory and motivation? is there ANY way to defend the "i'm the you that genocides all the other video games except i'm not you i'm chara and you're weird for wanting to play this game more than once" thing we ended up with?
