I mean cripple you but not perma ragdoll you or like most gloom bugs literally combo you to death with zero chance to break the chain. It is specifcally wounding you and not outright killing you instantly in an effort to make sure you can't just dolphin dive and mass stim to safety. Instead it will give you time to scream for help or 1v1 mefaget against a turbo stalker. You'll have the HP from the stims but you just won't have to option to keep diving away and running. You are dealing with this problem.
