Nintendo controls like half the console market, especially in Japan. Where's the alternative? Where are these devs supposed to release their games now? Certainly not Steam because they do the same thing, and they control 90% of the PC market. Where's the fair competition? Where's the spirit of the free market here? Why should either of them be allowed to get away with this on account of being a "private company" when they're such important access points for developers to the video game market? Indie developers like the Order Us! guys have literally had their livelihoods destroyed by Steam banning their games and larger-scale companies like Aquaplus and Compile Heart are suffering as well.
