I would have written this as "That's what being alive is for all of us" or "that's being a person" or something other than using the word 'human.'

It's not clunky although it would also work better at a lower tone and said with less, let's say, 'emphatic energy.' But as far as audiences go, it's about 15 seconds of what will be a clip that will pass by many people and then will not spend the time and energy you are.

I also agree with >>149170618 - because of things like Young Justice, and Injustice and especially because of the Snyderverse, it's definitely necessary and certainly does need to spelled out.

If this had come out circa Superman Returns, or well before all these Evil Superman/Bad Superman takes, it would then perhaps be 'clunky' but don't forget, even two decades ago, people were calling Smallville corny for lines/scenes like PICREL
