I marathon 12 eps in one go, this show is just meh so far, I really shouldn't have raised my expectations with this studio after Link click 2... It's mid most of the time then it has one great moment then going back to being mid.
This show would be more entertaining if it was directed by a Japanese director, I missed how fun Tiger and Bunny was, chinese donghua always focus too much on moral lessons and cliche melodrama. The narration gets worse each episode after the first E-soul episode, the pacing also feels needlessly slow, it's like being forced to watch fillers for char dev. And yet aside the first guy, the rest of hero characters doesn't feel fleshed-out at all, now what's the point of watching a jobber had an full-length episode fight with another jobber? They spent so much effort on two wonder women fighting each other like a season finale, someone pls export one good nip director to China, teach them how to tell a good story
