Friends,
In recent days, so many media have published content regarding the possible negotiations, meetings and perspectives regarding the war in Ukraine.
I get asked a lot what I think about "XYZ says that..."
Here's what I think: these are all opinions and thoughts, "sources preferring to remain anonymous" and "people familiar with the matter." These are not evidence-based facts.
I have deep respect for the work journalists do - it's very important and necessary. And in a case like this one, when things change from one minute to the next, sensitivity is crucial.
I prefer to rely on facts and statements, not speculation. There are a lot of fakes and untrustworthy information floating around, precisely with the goal to cloud our judgment. We must do our best to distinguish facts from everything else.
