Rogue isn't quite as fun as Black Flag because being designed for weaker hardware meant that the ocean map had to be divided up into these smaller sections with narrow choke points splitting them up. It's not quite as bad on the atlantic map but the river valley environment really sucks to sail around in because everything is so narrow and I was dreading every time the story brought me back to it. I guess the trade off is that you can get off your ship and explore more seamlessly than in Black Flag but there isn't really much point to it unless you really love running around the empty wilderness and shooting wolves.
