I fucking hate this website. Sorry about the pic.
>Shoko v. Miu
Legitimate TJPW match of the year contender. I think it's probably the best singles match of the year so far. It went close to half an hour. Started out with some good mat/chain wrestling and eventually spilled to the outside with dives. It was back and forth for the last ten or so minutes and was just awesome. They countered each other's finishers and had a ton of great near falls at the end. Miu pinned Shoko. The crowd dynamic was nuts. Both got equal cheers coming out but as the match went on Shoko become the massive underdog babyface and people were absolutely booing the hell out of Miu. She cut off Shoko's comeback a couple times and the crowd was furious. The look on Miu's face was priceless. No way she's ever gotten boos like that in her career. Just awesome. Watch this match when it goes up.
>Vert/Miyu v. Yuka/Billie
Really great match. It went over 20 minutes, close to 25 I think. Very AEW/indie style so if that's your thing you'll like it. A bit of finisher spam and kick outs at the end. Some really awesome back and forth striking between Miyu and Yuka. Vert and Billie were great too. Some crazy high spots including a vertical suplex on the stage. Vert ate the pin.
>Mizuki v. Maki
Zero chance these two were going to be able to follow the previous two matches with Itoh in the ring, but she had her working boots on and it ended up being pretty good. I was surprised that the crowd seemed very split, Itoh wasn't nearly as over as she seemed to be on the Houston shows. A lot of crowd brawling early. Mizuki hit the top rope foot stomp with Maki across the second rope. Cross body to the floor. There were some good near falls at the end but Mizuki hit the bridging suplex to win. I thought for sure she was going to break out Whirling Candy but it didn't happen.
