I used to work in the OG sector, not any more. But still, it takes time to review companies. All companies lie about their operations. Main stream media shills their stock just before it goes down and shits on it before it goes up. OG runs in big cycles, look at XOM price for the last 5 years, CVX, these are large companies with some different emphasis on production vs distribution/refining and where they operate. CVX costs a little more, is a bit more focused on production, pays a little more dividend (some biz anons hate dividends or think they are insignificant). Your time frame is important, too. You can buy some of each and make your own "ETF" or buy an actual upstream ETF
