My job wants me to work 8 days in a row and I work 9 and a half hour days. Ill be doing this every two weeks. I really dont want to do this and I'm thinking about quitting. Ive asked for help but they decided not to hire anyone. I really dont want to quit but i go to school part time too so that really wont give me a lot of time to recover on my days off. Someone quit at another store. My district manager decided to implement a new rule. Mandatory coverage. Now when I signed up for this job I was under the impression I would work at one store. Now I find out i may have to work at this store once or twice a week. The commute would be at least an hour there likely longer than that cause of rush hour. I would be compensated but I really dont care. I really do not want to work at this store. What do I do? Id be working 9 and a half hours there most likely and then driving home.
