I thought Blade Runner was fantastic. His other Sci-Slop gives me pause though. The hyper-minimalism is going to seem weird in a Bond film, as would the realism of his other projects. He seems like a very strange fit.
I would have picked Baz Lurhman - the correct ethnicity, can do Yuge movies, all hyper kinetic and flashy and lizard brained.
