Looking at the old Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric trailers, I have to ask: What were they thinking with this reboot?

I get that it was aimed at young kids and nonfans i.e. the "modern audience" but I don't think they'd like this watered down crap. The gameplay sucking just made it worst.
