It seems mostly okay but there's a few places that are awkward and which you're better off modifying as felt by you while you go through it. I think you can get away with just taking what was written there, changing it as needed according to your needs, and just expanding it all around(example: don't switch to a mining deck after kaishi 1.5 but first switch to another random deck with 3k words instead, only switching to mining afterwards)
What follows are some random thoughts my drunken ass had while reading that thing. A bit late but I should tell you that I've never used that site, had to read through the whole guide to answer you, and never watched cure dolly either.
>There are many, many anime that have simple Japanese.
"Simple" here refers to "not ridiculously complicated", think of the difference between a moege and some fancy detective VN. You'll still get raped by the former when you're just starting out.
>subtitle tutor method
Honestly sounds silly to me but even at the worst you'll just have wasted a few hours. I feel like just watching an anime with simultaneous English & Japanese subs while occasionally pausing to try and grasp the Japanese text would be better. In any case you shouldn't rely on subtitle tutor for long, nor on English subs.
>10 minutes kana practice
Feels too little. If I remember right it took me 2 weeks to learn kana while spending an hour or so on kana practice(on that very same site actually) every 2 days. Don't feel too restricted by the numbers written on that guide, feel free to try kana practice for an hour a day or to try 5 eps of anime or sneak some reading practice despite not being explicitly told to, etc. Make sure you're having fun too.
