Great great grandparents were too autistic so they sold a castle and huge portions of land to feud over nothing.
Each generation was somehow envious of the young so they deliberately tried to fuck them over.
Somehow they snaked themselves into being some mid rank commies and acquired a ton of land again for basically no cost.
Then the schizo shit of hating your own sons having it better, or maybe even surpassing you kicked in so they kept crippling them early on.
This was usually counterbalanced by the mother, but my fathers mother died when he was little, so the Saturn eating his own sons meme hurt him bad enough that he turned into an irredeemable piece of shit.
Here I am born of that guy and well meaning, but equally broken woman of meager background (was effectively sold off for village clout).
Grandfather literally blew everything just so nothing was left for my father. (Quite openly just going around the village handing out money and shit before he croaked.)
Everything ended up in a divorce.
Currently waiting to see if I'll inherit any debt once my father inevitable uses one his shotguns.

The level of insane malice towards their offspring throughout the generations is really something I can't understand.
When I was around 19-20 and they were still alive I talked to my grandparents extensively about their lives and childhood and parental interactions.
Same with my father and mother. As it turns out they are all fucked up from the previous gen and somehow decided it was a good idea to pass it on.
Every single one had some absolutely fucked up abuse stories, yet they kept doing it themselves later on.
