Women in the past, like the 1950s and 1960s, would say they want a larger man. (This was before common obesity.) Being jacked at 5'11 is possibly better than being a skinny bitch at 6'4 through the eyes of most women. Yes, I am 5'11, and I don't feel short when I go out into public in the US. I am taller than most men. Almost everyone I see in public is shorter than me. How are most women going to tell that you're 5'11 or 6'1? Having bigger muscles also just makes me look like a larger person, just like being taller does for tall people, so there's a similar effect.
