A story where
An alien science experiment falls in love with a blonde waifu on a satellite
They would cuddle in a garden and in his dreams she would give the alien mysterious dreams of a grassy field at night covered in white flowers, from his future life on earth
She is sick with a deadly illness that only he has been inoculated from
Upon her murder, a scientist on the satellite builds a death ray to destroy the earth, but cannot use it without collecting the 7 Mcguffins
He wakes up on earth years later and vows revenge, uses his amazing Teleportation to collect the Mcguffins and activate the satellite
Along the way he encounters another superpowered individual, who looks just like him and learns to teleport too but not as good
They fight and he wins, activates the satellite from a big pyramidal monument
Weak sappy feelings girl gives him a speech about how current life is worth living and the past would want him to live out the present
SUDDENLY HE REMEMBERS THAT HIS MEMORY WAS WRONG, BLONDIE AND FEELINGS GIRL BOTH WANTED HIM TO "PLEASE SAVE MY EARTH", THANK YOU FEELINGS GIRL WHO IS JUST LIKE BLONDE GIRL.
realises his recurring dreams of flowers while he slept next to the feelings girl on the satellite were real memories
He destroys the satellite instead
He falls unconscious and falls from the sky
Doppleganger suddenly learns to tp right and saves them
When the earth is saved his spirit is reunited with Blonde Waifu in a white heavenly realm composed of their past and future memories
Meanwhile in an epilogue Shota and Sexy Older Girl kiss
Alien and Blondie's ghosts can't have babies, so they bless Shota and Older Girl's kid with their powers and consider him a fairy godchild
Godchild gets weirdly colored hair, telekinesis and time travel powers as a result
and his best friend happens to be a pink haired tomboy whose weird esper powers (seeing and sealing away evil spirits) get her bullied at school so she doesn't show them

Why did Sega rip off two lovers from a romance manga for Shadow and Maria? Isn't this basically plagiarism? The writer of Sonic Adventure 2, Shiro Maekawa, confirmed the romance manga was his inspiration. Maria even has the same voice actor as the Mokuren here.
