If there is one thing that royally irks me about AOE and TLK, it is that both were such an improvement on the Transformers side of things. Transformers had some really neat designs, and Bay had some winners before, but there were a lot of good ones in the two.
Transformers had more character to them. Prime even got an arc in AOE, If it's a good one is a different story, but he had one. Then TLK went back on that and had their big final clash take place in the background.
I'm not saying they were massive improvements either. I figure they'd improve on those as the movies went on and well, Last Knight put a kabosh on that.
