FFS anon read what I actually said. Gwyndolin is a unique case because of his ancestry. He wasn't reincarnated, but it is likely he went into a deep sleep like Filianore to extend his life. He's got dragon ancestry, and dragons are everlasting.

Also, Andre and Patches are human, which means they are by nature undead, which means they have a shard of the dark soul in them granting them immortality. This is why Gwyn feared humans, because fire is fated to fade, while shards of the dark soul have the power of eternity.
You really need to look into the lore properly, your issue is that you're unaware of this, and you're hearing about it for the first time.
