enjoyed the demo for NG more than I was expecting
Shinobi on the other hand looks cheap, even if it's well-drawn and animated the style will always remind me of flash / mobile games. also it has enemy health bars which is a sin as far as I'm concerned
would recommend Shadow of the Ninja - Reborn to everyone in this thread by the way, from the devs of Wild Guns Reloaded and The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors. ignore the filtered reviews

idk what they're smoking, felt great to me and I don't even really like action platformers much. it takes a little while to get going but once you understand the chaining system it's a lot of fun. harder difficulties add new enemies and placements too
