Well yea that’s what sells. Making a good-quality game isn’t gonna get eyes on it, and word of mouth only goes so far. Market your game so people get eyes on it and you’ll have people playing in droves easy
I can guarantee you there’s at least a dozen excellent games on steam you’ll have a great time with but you’ll never know exist because they didn’t do anything to get eyes on it
