I see that's what it's called in some region of America, here that same food item is widely known as Roma style pizza. In my opinion what it gets called hardly matters though, it's a tasty variation on the trope of a big flat piece of dough covered in tomatoes. In my house in the summer we usually make something pretty similar, but just use sliced fresh tomato as the base.
