But that didn't stop Herta from playing matchmaker between you and the elven princess. The goddess was very open about how she thought you should get more wives, actively pushing you and Aila together whenever possible.
Regardless of Herta's silliness and Bertha's illness it remained pretty nice day. The three of you went around seeing the sights once again, though Herta was nudging you both towards a certain direction until you were at a very familiar park.
"Oh, Master~" Herta said. "I just remembered something I needed to do." She winked at you, then she leaned in close to your ear and whispered. "Make sure to go in for the kill soon~! I'll be keeping watch to make sure no one disturbs you two~" And with that Herta skipped away.
"This is the same park we had a date in." Aila stopped by the fountain. "I like this place."
"Yeah, it's pretty scenic." You nodded. "And private, too."
None except a very skilled beguiler could escape your magical perception, and right now you couldn't feel anyone other than Herta strolling around another part of the park, Aila in front of the fountain, and your own unique mana signature right were you stood.
"Yes, it's..." Aila looked at you, a blush fully taking over her face. "Very wonderful."
"Aila." You began. "About what you mentioned earlier..."
"It's fine." She said, her eyes almost threatening to spill forth a river. "Even if things don't work out, I'm still glad for all the memories we've had together."
The moment seemed to stretch on.
>Rub her ears. You'll accept her feelings and make her yours.
>Give her a hug. Though you couldn't respond to her love, she was still your friend.
>Don't say anything.
