when they brought back the originals in the last few episodes they just confirmed to me that khara doesn't sincerely believe in their own designs being any good
the zaku, gelgoog, etc. are like that just to disgust people and highlight the wrongness of the time distortion lalah made
instead of these things i would really just like mecha designs that are designed by the designer to be good
