The irony of this post making Hollywood Studios purists seethe as well. Hollywood studios was about celebrating hollywood and going behind the scenes of movies. In that vision, Cars land has no place whatsoever.
You just want to dump Cars land onto Hollywood because Hollywood is now a landfill for IPs and you're trying to save what's left of Magic Kingdom. But you're not doing Studios any favors.

I say this as a fan of the upcoming Cars land by the way.

This made me wonder why Disney didn't go balls out on a full Pixar park. Could so easily solve all of this purist shit and actually make a great park. Pixar park could have all of toy story land, the upcoming monsters inc land, California's cars land, then add stuff from Walle-E, finding nemo, incredibles, Up.

In a perfect beautiful world, TSI/Rivers of America gets rethemed to Old Florida. Any FL locals who have checked out the Pioneer museum in Dade City (or similar), that. It stays as a laid back chill land but add actual shit to do. A REAL playground for kids to burn off energy and shaded seats for parents, small restaurant (southern soul food eg florida cracker kitchen) with shaded seating. It still eats up a bit of the existing river but boat can stay and it actually acts as an optional mode of transportation to and from frontierland (and villains if you assume disney still puts it back there even though my picrel is smaller than rumored villains land space).
Existing tom sawer island could theoretically be closed to public, reworked and used for a western show or something.
My idea is sort of redundant as it doesnt do anything frontierland doesn't, it's just purposely out of the way of heavy traffic. But if you do end up going there you can look at stuff, rest, drop your kids off. but it's totally skippable by design.
I normally have "armchair imagineer" fatigue as it only makes me hate Disney more but I liked this idea.
