I consider the following to be the best "narrative" or "evocative" games, not all story is text based after all. Not a single one is perfect except from Rain World, Killer7 and Journey but I think that feeling as if games need to stick to the conventional storytelling format is limiting when interactivity is considered. Rain world is the absolute gold standard
