The bolter's front sight is on the bottom of the gun for some reason. Bolters have pretty large front sights on them (I'm assuming this is more a limitation of modeling one at this small a scale and if they were a real weapon the sight wouldn't be so pronounced but you never know). IRL guns typically have a front and rear iron sight to line up so you can properly aim the weapon without a scope or attached sight. Somehow they managed to put the sight below the barrel of the gun - Lord only knows how since someone must be approving these sculpts before they hit production.
I dunno how to properly segway into this, but here's an M16 which has a pretty pronounced front iron sight. The rear sight is the entire carrying handle, it has a groove along it that lines up with the blade of the front sight.
