Besides the whole "you sat down to do internet" thing which was big, what I miss is how you simply met and added randos to your flist, some of them potentially becoming friends forever (like in my case). Comes back to what I mentioned earlier, no one talks to each other anymore, it's all silent and no one cares. Compare retail WoW to Private server full of millennials, xer or boomer, talking and having fun in rando dungeons. Even if it's just a simply "sup" or "gg thx bye", it's still miles better than fucking retail.
